Our Church HistoryGlory Church was birthed on October 21, 1991 and was founded on Colossians 1:27-28 The Theme of Our Church: Christ in You, The Hope of Glory was taken from the text of our founding scriptures. On May 3, 1998, we had our first service at our current location, 6405-B Two Notch Road and at the direction of the Holy Spirit, the name of our church was officially changed to Glory Church International in March of 2001. We purchased a 4,970 square foot building adjacent to our main building, which is in the process of renovation.In 2002, Glory Church International Bible Training Center (GCIBTC), was birthed and became a 2- year school of ministry which is still in effect today. The vision unfolded once again in 2004 with Glory Covenant International Ministries.We presently are in covenant with 38 ministries in Panama, and we have also planted churches in Ghana, West Africa. Rev. Sidney L. Payton is a graduate of RHEMA Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, whose founder is the late Dr. Kenneth Hagin, Sr. Rev. Payton is also licensed and ordained through Rhema Ministerial Association International (RMAI). God has taught us that it is Christ in You, The Hope of Glory. God is moving by His Spirit, fulfilling His Will and Purpose through the People of Glory Church International.
